Module leader, mentor
Beata studied Molecular Biology at University of Debrecen and holds PhD from Medical Science. During her PhD study she was visiting scientist at Cardiff University and at Taichung University of Science and Technology (Taiwan). Beata received a postdoctoral fellowship to Weizmann Institute of Science (Israel) and after her postdoc years she stayed in academic research in high ranked laboratories for several years. Beata’s main scientific interest is biochemistry, cell biology, metabolism, immunology, system biology and neuroscience. Beside academic research, Beata has several years experiences in biotech industry and in innovating startup world. In their free time, Beata loves sport, especially triathlon, cycling and open water swimming.
